Pocket Classics

I was on the Net yesterday looking for info about Kubrick’s The Shining — I was writing a review of a book about D. H. Lawrence & wanted to make a passing mention of the way that the concept of the Lawrentian Author had justified a fair amount of male bad behaviour and was reflected in fiction, but I couldn’t remember the name of the antihero (Torrance, it turned out to be, which somewhat makes my point). But in the process I came across a site called http://www.angryalien.com which features a series of cartoon versions of classic films enacted in 30 seconds by bunnies. Much recommended; the Bunny Theater version of The Shining is particularly good. Having in my youth produced a one page strip cartoon version of Beowulf and a two page Hamlet, I enjoyed the Bunnies a lot.
