Amazingly, the Baroque Book got drafted, to time, and to length … I really don’t quite know how. A bit of ‘translation to follow …’, inevitably, but it does exist, and was sent off to Manchester at quarter past one this morning, still warm. It may not be quite what the thing looks like when it’s between hard covers, but it exists and at the moment that is the main thing, indeed, the only thing.

I shall perform a belated solo morris dance the length of Cally Road in celebration (well, just the bit between the cyber caff and the chip shop, probably). Fantastically well done!

The desired outcome was achieved with the aid of: Spanish biscuits, Mexican chocolate, Breton dulce de leche, a few surviving Olga Stores figs, & carne de membrillo, to name but those that come to mind … many thanks to all those who contributed to the baroque texture of things.

    Glad to hear it’s done . . .
